Our proposal starts from the concept that the secret of contemporary garden reveals itself in experiencing an active participation in vital creativity, that is never equal or repetitive, always present and active in every place.
Just as to habit one place means to take care of it rather than to occupy it, to live and create a garden deals with allowing the genius loci to express itself through its inhabitants, to be recognized, respected and revitalized in a creative way.
The garden is intended as a ritual experience in nature, moving us from the condition of observers-users-dominators to that of accomplices and celebrants of the natural creative process.
Our project, therefore, calls to change our relationship with places and our perception of them: invitation to listen, symbolized by the great primitive trumpet, which implies the willingness to dialogue and, in the meanwhile, make us feel we belong to Earth. This perception's intermediary, deep in the forest, can be accessed by different paths patched by seasonal bulbs, as a transfiguration experience with and within nature, along its endless, unpredictable paths. |
